I was surprised to see my name come up in google alerts, and even more surprised to learn that I was a rock star in Dublin. :)
I really am another Mick Brady living in Santa Barbara, California; once a musician, now an artist and writer. Nice to hear that my counterpart in Ireland is still rockin'.
Drop me a line sometime. It would be interesting to hear what two Mick Brady's might have to say to one another.
Love your music, btw, and especially love the title of the CD; it sounds exactly like something I would have come up with.

Mick and I were next door neighbours in Gordon Street in Dublin. His piano playing use to echo throught the walls and drive us mad. Wasn't much of a footballer but his musical talents stood the test of time.
Well done Mick.

Hi Mick,
A wonderful CD and congratulations!
I am so impressed by "I hope they're together tonight", for I know what happened. My wife loves the music of "She used to be a girl with a future".
Best wishes and good luck!

Hi Mick,
Congratulations.
I know the hard work - blood, sweat and tears that went into this project.
I hope it gets the recognition that it deserves.
Good luck,

I really enjoyed listening to your CD. I love your lyrics - 'I hope they're together tonight' is so sad, and 'In the Name of the Faith' is so powerful. My favourites are 'Life's Too Good' and 'Caught in the Headlights' - great country songs, I can just imagine Tim McGraw or Joe Nichols singing these.

Mick -- The CD is wonderful. Lary and I have been listening to it all over the house, in the car, etc. I love the wide range in mood, from funny to warm to sad to serious. The vocals and lyrics are superb, as is the full arrangement and back-up. Truly a great CD -- best of luck with it!
Cheers, Lany

Mick.
Your CD very well received down here in OZ, very clever songwriting, and despite the Dublin accent, the vocals came over very well.
Wish you every success with this one.

Hi Mick,
Thank you for the new CD and congratulations. I´m really hournered that you still remember me. Perhaps I´ll start a fan-club in Denmark. I have 3 potential members already - Lis and Peter, I think you remember them from our stay some years ago where we went to Dublin with a class.
I love (and my wife too) the music and your texts are really good - no emty flattering here. My favourites are We should have known better and the last one in the name og faith - a relly "dark" number. Was there any public reaction on this number?
Best wishes and good luck
